Recognised as one of Stellenbosch’s iconic Sauvignon Blanc’s since the 1970’s, Le Bonheur’s Sauvignon Blanc is made in a classic and elegant style. The wine is a blend of two contrasting vineyards, which, combined, yield the perfect balance. The one vineyard is planted right on top of Klapmuts Hill, at an altitude of 450m. This cooler site produces zesty and crisp Sauvignon Blanc, with a refreshing natural acidity.
Old vines, higher altitudes and meticulous, precision viticulture all contribute to a Stellenbosch classic. The Le Bonheur Cabernet Sauvignon has over the past 50 years gained a loyal following and reputation as one of the Simonsberg’s most revered Cabernet Sauvignon wines. This flagship wine is our winemaker’s selection of Le Bonheur’s best Cabernet Sauvignon barrels.
Le Bonheur’s Chardonnay vineyards benefit from the shadow of Klapmuts Hill on summer afternoons. This cooling effect results in a long and moderate ripening period and wines with delicate citrus notes and distinctive minerality. A component of this wine is matured in 300L French oak barrels, which adds to the elegance and complexity of this special wine. Enjoy with grilled prawns or line fish, with a lemon butter sauce.
